Sending SleekFlow WhatsApp messages on Salesforce marketing cloud user journey

To send WhatsApp messages on Salesforce marketing cloud journey, you must first add SleekFlow as a Salesforce package.

Install SleekFlow as a Salesforce package

  1. Login Salesforce Marketing Cloud account > Settings > Platform Tools > Apps > Installed Packages> Select New on the top right

  1. Input a name for the new package. e.g. “Send messages with SleekFlow”

  1. Once a package is created, you can Add Component

  1. Select Journey Builder Activity

  1. Input the Endpoint URL

Endpoint URL can be copied from Channels > Automation tools > Salesforce Marketing cloud > Add > Endpoint URL

Setup Send WhatsApp Message on Salesforce

  1. You can select “SleekFlow send message” from the left panel as an activity and drag the action to the journey

  1. Construct the message payload directly

API Key: Enter your unique API key

Can be copied from Channels > Automation tools > Salesforce Marketing cloud > Add > Unique API key

WhatsApp Phone Number: Your connected WhatsApp number with country code. e.g. 85298765432

Message Type: Selec Template

Message Payload: Paste the template payload from Sleekflow

Copy Payload Steps:

Settings > Official WhatsApp > Template manager > Select Specific template > Copy Payload

  1. Click Done and Activate! You may now run a test to send messages.
