For Official WhatsApp numbers, if you want to contact new customers or existing customers who did not interact with you for over 24 hours, you must use templates to send a message.
You can now directly apply for Twilio or SleekFlow Cloud API templates on SleekFlow, get them approved, and start sending them immediately!
You can begin creating a template by pressing the "Create Template" button and filling in the fields below.
Template Name: The name of your template, only for your reference, will not be seen by the clients/customers
Category: Set your template within a category
Utility
Updates about an order or account that a customer has already created Examples: order confirmations, account updates, receipts, appointment reminders
Marketing
*Recommend, a high chance to get approved*
Send promotions or information about your business Examples: welcome messages, newsletters, offers, coupons
Authentication
Send codes to verify a transaction or login Examples: one-time password, account recovery code

Quick Reply: The button will trigger the previously failed message to send
Call to Action: The button will trigger the user to open a link (the link can insert when pressing Add Button under the message section)
Language: The main language of your template
If you are submitting a template with multiple languages, please submit the same template and choose different languages after pressing Template Translation.
Message: The content that you want to send
Use double curly braces to indicate where you plan to use dynamic content.
For example, to send “Hello Angel! We have launched the latest event Super Night. Since you are our VIP client, would you like to register?”.
The template would be: "Hello {{1}}! We have launched the latest event {{2}}. Since you are our VIP client, would you like to register?"
When the template is approved, you can insert any variables or content for {{1}} and {{2}}, which you can edit when you are creating a campaign.
Template Translation: If your template has different languages, you can press Template Translation to submit your template in different languages. It will create a new template message interface where you can choose the other template's message and language.
You can also use Preview on the right to have a quick look at how your template message will show up on WhatsApp.
After submitting a template, you can come back to check the template's status to see if you are able to use it.
Waiting for WhatsApp approval: The template is not yet overviewed by WhatsApp. You can come back a day later to check if the status changed.
Translation Rejected: Your template has been rejected by WhatsApp and cannot be used as a template message
Translation Approved: Your template was approved and you can immediately copy and paste the message as a template message
Handy Tip: When applying for Official WhatsApp messages, please note that you have to avoid the following wordings: - Any promotional content and wordings - Messages that WhatsApp deem are spammable like "Hello"
