This procedure only for those with new Shopify UI, for those using the Old UI, they can still use the private apps method to link Shopify to SleekFlow.
For New UI users, you would only be able to use the private app option only for a day, which would then be unable to access later and therefore, cannot allow for additions through the private app page.
Step 1 - Develop an App
Login to Shopify and go to Apps >> Develop apps >> Create an app
Type in “SleekFlow” >> Create app
You can leave the App Developer section blank, as it will not affect the creation of the Custom App.
Step 2 - Admin API Scopes Configuration
After you create the app, it will land on this page on App development:
Click Configure Admin API scopes
Under the section Admin API access scopes, choose Read access to Customer, Orders & Products >> Save
To make sure Custom App works as intended, please check the Webhook subscriptions and see if it is set to by default the latest update (current version: 2022-01).
If it is in any other version, please change that back to the Latest version.
Step 3 - Install App
After the settings in Overview are ready, press the tab Configurations to install the application.
Step 4 - Retrieve Admin API Access Token
When the application has been installed, please go to the next tab on the top - API Credentials.
When you arrive on the page API Credentials >> Copy Admin API access token
Please note the token can only be viewed ONCE!
If you missed the token and did not copy it, please uninstall the app and repeat from Step 1.
Please remember to press the Copy code when the code is displayed
Step 5 - Integration
The final step is to go back to SleekFlow >> Channel >> Shopify
Paste your API Token under the API Password Section
And also type in your shop URL (Format: XXXX.myshopify.com)
